That's what Oocademy stands for.
It was not untill the beginning of 2018 that he took a leap of faith and started realising his dream: creating world's first Odoo technical training platform.
How did this dream originate?
The early days of Oocademy
The idea of Oocademy started to develop throughout the beginning of 2018.
It was not until august that the concept has evolved into a clear plan:
Oocademy will be an online technical training platform,
filled with tutorials, documentation, code generators,
webinars, Q&A sessions and customizable training courses!
Realizing Oocademy
Now there was a solid plan, it was time for the next step: where, when and how to start?
It became pretty obvious that this whole project was big. Bigger than one can afford and manage
during a 40-hours workweek. Realising this, Yenthe knew he had to make a decision. And so he
did.
It was never an easy decision, but he chose to reduce the working hours in employment,
so he could spend more time on Oocademy.
Also, he chose to start a Kickstarter to help finance this project.

With those decisions made, the project was starting to
move forward.
Now there was only one more step to take:
introduce Oocademy to the world!
And what better way than doing this at Odoo’s yearly event,
Odoo Experience?
On the 3rd october of 2018, founder Yenthe presented this brand-new and upcoming
platform at Odoo Experience.
